The Water Adaptation Community

We produced and edited three videos for the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference in collaboration with The Water Adaptation Community. These videos were presented to delegates and world leaders at the conference to raise awareness about water-related climate disasters and provide guidance on actionable steps they can take.

TESTIMONIAL

“It was a very nice working with Pacote. Although we were under a lot of time pressure, their personality, and style of working, made this production a very fun and pleasant task.”

Åse Johannessen, Senior Program Officer, Water and Urban team, GCA

Video 1 - Mainstreaming Water Adaptation
Mainstreaming water adaptation refers to the integration of adaptation measures to address water-related challenges into policies, plans, and programs across different sectors and levels of governance.

Video 2 - Hotspots
Climate change means increasing pressure on the Earth’s system and human societies. A landscape approach is necessary - in contrast to addressing issues separately - as multiple climate related challenges interrelate in one place (droughts, floods, heatwaves, pollution etc.).

Video 3 - Communities of Practice
The WAC Community of Practice are essentially topical umbrellas that link to existing networks, projects and communities of practice all over the globe.

TESTIMONIAL

Pacote demonstrated during the production period, a strong dedication to the task in terms of timeliness, flexibility and attention to quality and detail.”
